Love all = £550

Once again, the Hampshire Tennis Club played host to what is fast becoming the Show You Care Annual Tennis Grand Prix.
On Wednesday 7th September, 24 lovely people played tennis for us. And together with a tombola and a guess the name of the bear, competition, we raised £550. You can imagine how delighted we are with the result.
Thank you everyone who took part and enjoy some of the pictures from the day.

Hamble Teddies raise £300

It was a bit of a slow start for the teddies on Hamble Week Saturday but the end result made it very worthwhile. We raised an amazing £300 which is enough to fund the important position of house mother at the orphanage. Thank you all who made this possible. See here for an album of the fun had on the day. (Opens in a new window.)

Friends Carol and Brian Pavey from Hamble did a great job making the board (which took hours) for the tombola and sorting it out on the day.

Judy's cousin Sue made some beautiful teddy bear cakes, managed the lucky dip and lots more.

And friends Jane Hartley and Sheila Pickering gave their time helping for the day. Without everyone's help, it would have been very difficult to raise the amount we did.

Tea and Tennis raise £550

Tea and cake, yes pleaseOn Wednesday, 8th September The Hampshire Tennis Club played host to a wonderful afternoon of tennis, tea, raffle and more. A sincere thank you to all who took part and raised such a wonderful amount.

Willing and able100% of the proceeds go to HCCH, the orphanage in Nepal that we support. This wonderful result means that Judy will be sending another £1000 to the children in the next couple of weeks.

A great car boot sale and £1000 on its way to the children

On Sunday 27th June, Judy set up shop at the Bursledon car boot sale. The result was £160 which meant that the very next day Judy could send a grand total of £1000 to the orphanage. A fantastic result!

Walk a great success

lovely people

On Sunday 2nd May many of our supporters joined in a fun walk to raise funds for The Himalayan Orphans in Nepal.
Remember, every pound raised goes directly to the Orphanage, no admin fees or any other costs deducted!
We gathered outside the cafe in Victoria Country Park and enjoyed the guided walks, which ranged in distance to suit everyone.
We raised over £600 which is enough to feed the children for 3 months. A fantastic result and we are very grateful to everyone who supported us.

Lama Pasang wrote a few words thanking Judy (aka Mum) and all who took part,
"Dear Mum, please say hello and thank you very much for your friend and those people who help to raise money for our orphanage children. we never forget you and those kind people's great effort and compassionate for these poorest children.
